[Pkg-samba-maint] Bug#612764: After upgrading from lenny symlinks are not working anymore

I'd like to mention that it's as well impossible to delete such broken
symlinks
even if you created them yourself:

user at client:~/share$ mount | grep share
//server/files/ on /home/user/share type cifs (rw,mand)
user at client:~/share$ ls -l
total 0
user at client:~/share$ touch a
user at client:~/share$ ln -s a b
user at client:~/share$ ln -s /etc/passwd c
ln: creating symbolic link `c': Permission denied
user at client:~/share$ ls -l
ls: cannot read symbolic link c: Permission denied
total 0
-rw-r--r-- 1 user default_user  0 May 11 10:05 a
lrwxrwxrwx 1 user default_user  1 May 11 10:05 b -> a
lrwxrwxrwx 1 user default_user 11 May 11 10:05 c
user at client:~/share$ rm a b c
rm: cannot remove `c': Permission denied
user at client:~/share$ ls -l
ls: cannot read symbolic link c: Permission denied
total 0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 user default_user 11 May 11 10:05 c
user at client:~/share$ rm c
rm: cannot remove `c': Permission denied
user at client:~/share$ ls -l
ls: cannot access c: Permission denied
total 0

You can only clean it up on the server side...
