[Pkg-samba-maint] How to backport the inetd and {libnss, libpam}-winbind fixes?

The only two fixes I can see in the origin/master branch vs
origin/samba_4.0 is:

 - dropping inetd support 
 - changing {libnss,libpam}-winbind Recommends to Suggests.

(and presumably changelog entries to pretend this package runs on from
3.6)

It's easy to fix the recommends, but dropping inetd support seems to
have changed all the translation files.  Is there a tool I should use to
handle this transition?

I'm keen to remove this from the TODO blocking us from making this
package more widely available.
