I got it to build, but I took some shortcuts in my repo to get to that point,
so I will need to clean that up before I can push to the public repo.

In the tests I did I saw some issues:

- there is something wrong with the debconf templates (which causes the error
  you saw)
- the init script in the 'samba' package is for the 'samba' daemon, not for
  'smbd' and 'nmbd'
- the samba package doesn't depend on all the needed libraries:
smbd: error while loading shared libraries: libdfs_server_ad.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
- the postinst from the 'samba-ad-dc' package fails
- samba-ad-dc doesn't ship an init script
- there is no transitional samba4 package (which should probably depend on
  samba-ad-dc)

But when I manually start smbd, I can connect to the samba server (basic test
with smbclient).
