Hello,

Franckly speaking, such suggestions, just like most enhancements and
improvements, would better be made to upstream. The likelihood that it
gets lost in Debian BTS is really high.

The value added by one of the maitnainers of Samba in Debian to report
your suggestion to upstream's BTS seems really low to me.
