That does sound like it works, although 20 seconds is really slow.

gwenhwyvar:~% time xsltproc --nonet
xsltproc --nonet   0.17s user 0.01s system 97% cpu 0.180 total

Can you provide the config.log from the Samba4 build? Configure tries
to run this exact command, and for some reason it failed there.
