locate doesn't seem to find anything.
What's more I've checked md5 of that so file :

root at dagobah:~# grep libwinbind-client /var/lib/dpkg/info/libwbclient0\:amd64.md5sums
ccbd9fdc473827988f6f38997f8f6f9f usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/samba/libwinbind-client.so.0
root at dagobah:~# md5sum /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/samba/libwinbind-client.so.0
ccbd9fdc473827988f6f38997f8f6f9f /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/samba/libwinbind-client.so.0
root at dagobah:~# objdump -p /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/samba/libwinbind-client.so.0 | grep SAMBA_4.1.6
2 0x00 0x04ae5a8e SAMBA_4.1.6_DEBIAN

So everything seems correct
I've also checked ld.so.conf(.d) and all paths mentioned there still there
is only one libwinbind-client.so.0

root at dagobah:/etc/ld.so.conf.d# find /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/ /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu /lib32 /usr/lib32 -name \*winbind-client\*
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/samba/libwinbind-client.so.0

I'm a bit lost here
