There is some movement on this bug other places. It is now fixed in Ubuntu: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/1310919 It is also active upstream, but as I have understood not included yet: https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10490
