There is a Samba 4.3 package in experimental:
https://packages.debian.org/experimental/samba. I've smoke-tested it
for my own purposes and it works for them, so you might want to try it
out and see if it meets your needs. Of course, it is in experimental
so caveat emptor. I don't use it as a domain controller, only as a
file server, so I can't speak to that aspect.
