The problem has been reported to Samba bugzilla as bug 11271
with no response so far.
Using a simple smb.conf file with print share rp defined om
linux machine lynx, windows 7 refuses to send files to
//lynx/rp with the error comment "The Procedure Number is out of
range" Microsoft documentation suggests that this is error is due to
changes in the applicatuion, presumably samba.
