[Pkg-samba-maint] Bug#784663: samba: Tdbsam fails with high ascii characters in user names

Package: samba
Version: 2:4.1.17+dfsg-2
Severity: normal
After upgrading from Wheezy to Jessie Samba no longer accepted user logins.
Turns out the letter "ä" in user names makes Samba ignore a user in the user
database. After renaming my user it worked without problems. Wheezy's Samba
used the same database file without problems.
