[Pkg-samba-maint] Bug#803001: samba: Share mount fails on first attempt (Samba clients ask for password 2 twice)

Dear Maintainer,


After upgranding to Debian Jessie, (which upgraded to Samba 4) I noticed that,
sometimes, the Samba server fails on a client authentication on the first
attempt, working fine on the second attempt. This occurs either when using
MS Windows as a client (in this case, Windows asks for the password 2 times)
or when using mount.cifs (in this case, it outputs a mount error(5): 
Input/output error). After a successful mount, the problema ceases but after
about 5 minutes, it returns.

Looking for a solution to this problem, I found out that it turns to be a
Samba bug, reported at

https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=10604

It seems that, to fix this bug, it is just a matter of backporting the patch
to Debian Jessie. Could you do this, please?
