Source: samba
Version: 2:3.6.6-6+deb7u9
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
After applying today's samba packages upgrade for Debian 7.10 (Wheezy),
users trying to open their windows domain session get "The trust relationship
between this workstation and the primary domain failed".
Logs show this error :
rpc_server/netlogon/srv_netlog_nt.c:976(_netr_ServerAuthenticate3)
_netr_ServerAuthenticate3: netlogon_creds_server_check failed. Rejecting auth request from client
What we tried:
- restarted the samba service,
- restarted the whole system and the client PCs,
- inserted "allow dcerpc auth level connect = yes" under "[Global]" in
/etc/samba/smb.conf (as suggested in
https://access.redhat.com/articles/2253041#additional-notes)
Nothing worked so far.
However, SOME users could login at first after rebooting. But later, they
could not anymore.
