Package: samba
Version: 2:4.2.10+dfsg-0+deb8u2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

After upgrading from Samba 4.1 to Samba 4.2, I can no longer connect to
shares from OS X 10.11. Linux boxes (upgraded to Samba 4.2) connect fine,
as does Windows 10.

Samba logs show the following error for each connection attempt:

[2016/04/15 12:40:07.087650,  1]
../auth/ntlmssp/ntlmssp_server.c:908(ntlmssp_server_postauth)
  ntlmssp_server_postauth: invalid NTLMSSP_MIC for user=[GUEST] domain=[]
workstation=[ROGERS]

I assume that there are configuration options for smb.conf which will
resolve this - but I can't find them. I can't find any clear instructions
in the
documentation, although it seems to suggest that such issues are likely
with this upgrade.

Thank you.
