I'm not sure I understand how that helps, as they're both very
different Samba and very different Debian versions. But anyway, up to
you :)

Thanks for taking some time for this.

I've imported the last upload by the security release to the git
repository. The rest of my week is filled with on-call, so I won't
do any work on the stable uploads in the near future.
