[Pkg-samba-maint] segfault with Samba automount

Hello

We're using Debian's Samba packages in OSMC. We mount hard disks using udisks and udisks-glue, and have a trigger to automatically share attached media via Samba. We've found that since the last Samba update to Debian [1], we have a segfault when using the following line in smb.conf.

usershare template share = automount template

There's possibly some useful advice here [2].

We're keen to resolve this as we'd like to stay with the upstream distribution of Samba. If there's any further information needed to resolve this issue, please do let us know, but it looks like a recent regression and I expect that you can replicate the problem firsthand without complication.

I am not subscribed to this mailing list, so I would appreciate being copied in to any replies.

Kind Regards,
