Sorry for missing activity from me, i didn't got message from 19.5.2017
upwards, dunno why (maybe missing subscription).

But we have a new information from our client that it worked on Debian
stable (9) from july 2017 and it works now after update to latest
(january 2018) stable too.

So it's fixed somewhere between Debian 8 and Debian 9.

I propose to close this. Thanks for you hints and sorry for my latency
once more.
