[Pkg-samba-maint] Samba Git question

Hai, 
 
I was perparing some new packages for my stretch backported 4.7.4-2 version and notices a small bug. 
Im getting better with git, so im changing the setup to git so i can provide small patches where needed. 
 
Rebuilding for a bpo setup complains.
builddeps:samba : Depends: debhelper (> 11) but 11~bpo9+1 is to be installed
 
Just created an account on salsa, the is the commit for the above typo.

I searched for some instructions to use git-build, are these still ok?  because https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba4/Debian  
looks that this is not correct anymore.
So if someone can point me to the lastest, correct instructions, that would be great.
Because i'm preparing a new build machine focus on git builds.
