[Pkg-samba-maint] Samba gets killed by oom-kill due to high memory usage

Hello,

I want to point on the following issue:
https://www.reddit.com/r/samba/comments/pkn1yn/samba_memory_leak_and_crash/

It´s not my thread but it contains all necessary information for
debugging and is the same behaviour I experience under Debian 11 with
version "4.13.5-Debian".

In short, smbd uses so much memory on larger file transfers that "oom-
kill" comes in and kills it.

Also, even if the transfer was successful, the memory isn´t freed
after.

I would be grateful if someone looks into this.

Thank you & best regards
