Vincent, do you, by a chance, have the same usernames in
/etc/passwd and in the AD your samba server joined?
What you describe smells like you have the same username
here and there.
As the samba people told me, this is unsupported, a usee
should be either in AD or in local /etc/passwd but not
both. I think it is a bug (which is even easy to fix).
Is it the case here?
