Package: samba
Followup-For: Bug #1009998
X-Debbugs-Cc: pitsiorisj at outlook.com
The 4.16.2 upgrade reached testing a moment ago, so I tested my filemanager
(pcmanfm, gtk version) for the issue. It can connect to
smb://host/sharename (or smb://ip/sharename)
but not to
smb://host (or smb://ip)
This means the user is not able to see the shares from the host but has to
remember the name of each share in order to connect to it and also do that by
typing its name in the address bar. Does this happen to you as well?
