Hi!

I'm replying to an old bug report, jessie is now very old.
Samba is running as root and it adjusts number of open files to
at least 16k (see max open files in smb.conf).  You have to
take look at the process limits of running smbd to see the
actual value.  And you can't change it externally either.

Anyway, is this issue still relevant with the current version
of samba (4.13)?
