Hi!

This bug appears to be about an old samba version (4.11).
There were a few corner cases with old protocols negotiation
fixed meanwhile, including some bugs reported in the Debian BTS.

Current 4.16 client can mount shares from older servers, including
old samba and windows XP, provided there's a way to enable older
protocols.

It looks like what's left is a way for qemu slirp (usermode)
networking to be able to add an option to enable old protocols
when running smbd. And this is definitely a qemu job to do.

What do you think?

Thanks,

/mjt
