Works for me, on a system originated from bookworm, then updated to
testing (this is the pre-ad-dc-split situation as to my understanding).
I then tested an update to samba_4.21.1+dfsg-2_amd64.deb and its
dependency.

Also upgrading from testing to a full unstable installation worked for
me.
