"Site" mechanism in Active Directory domain supposed to cope well
with unreachable servers in another site, as long as at least one
server in local site remains available.  However, winbindd has a
bug which prevents it from working if a remote site becomes
unreachable for whatever reason.

For a samba-based AD with remote sites, this is a serious issue.
