I don't say that "it should be maintained by ruby-team".

I suggest that you consider where you are most comfortable maintaining 
this package.

You are welcome to maintain it in the Sass team

Sass team do not require that you use any specific packaging style.

You choice of packaging style - no matter if decided from personal 
preference or from some team policy or from past experience in other 
teams - affect who can help you and how efficiently, e.g. for finalizing 
package releases, and I note concretely that your current packaging 
style seems to cause some issues with the tools I am familiar with, 
including git-buildpackage and cowbuilder.

You are welcome to quote my emails in this conversation whereever you 
like - in bugreports or elsewhere.
