I fixed most of this issues, thanks for the review.  The dh-autoreconf
thing didn't work right away and after and needs some fiddling, no
time for that right now or this weekend.

No idea.  IIRC (I did that several weeks ago already), and mistakes
aside, I just documented what was used by consequence of the
build-depends or the defaults in the ./configure.

Anyway, I just wanted to finally take over maintainance of the package
and bring it under SDL umbrella; with minor packaging updates and
trying to not break many things (even if multi-arch and so on are
already important changes).  I expected that we would need to change
things between now and the freeze anyway, things are always changing,
e.g. the 3.9.3 policy that was just introduced.

The current version in the archives contains the same and more
problems than the current package (even if they are nothing serious),
for example the symbol file thing was already happening before.  So if
there are no big remaining problems now please upload, otherwise it'll
be obsoleted again and it'll need even more new changes the next time
that I look at it ;-)
