I would prefer if Felix (which did more work on the package) reviewed
it, otherwise I can do it in a few days.

If things are all right and you want to step up as maintainer for this
package within the Debian SDL team, I think that you should commit the
changes to alioth, you already have permissions and I don't think that
it makes sense to release .24 present there if .25 is already out.

BTW, what's the status of sdlgfx for SDL2?  We could create a package
for it, if upstream supports it and there's enough demand (although it
seems that very very few packages within debian switched to libsdl2
:-(( ).
