multiarch libsdl2-dev package?

What's the problem with libdir, that it's set to
/usr/lib/${arch_triplet} so it cannot be the same package for all
architectures?

In principle I am fine with this, but I'd like to know the plans about
upstreaming this change or asking them for a suitable alternative, so
we do not have to carry the patch over forever.
