Hello Simon, my bad thanks for the highlight!
Will ask to remove the one from experimental, and maybe I'll try to push against ttf2 some games.

thanks!

G.

This looks like you've repackaged src:libsdl2-ttf, which we already have
as a separate source package?

(Yes, the versioning is confusing: most of the SDL_foo 2.x family are
addons for SDL 2, but for some reason the SDL_ttf version number was
bumped from 1.2.x to 2.0.x before the move from SDL 1.2 to SDL 2.0.)

I think src:sdl-ttf2.0 needs to continue to package the SDL 1.2 branch,
which is essentially dead upstream but is depended on by lots of
older games like angband. Or, if those games get ported to SDL 2,
then src:sdl-ttf2.0 can be removed, but given that one of them is
dwarf-fortress (which I think is binary-only upstream), that seems
unlikely to happen soon.

This is a SONAME change, which will break existing binaries. It
should have been accompanied by renaming the shared library package to
libsdl2-ttf-2.0-0, but we already have that, built from src:libsdl2-ttf.
