libsdl3 ftbfs on hppa, because of too short timeout in the testcases.
I manually built libsdl3 on hppa, and for example the "testatomic"
testcase asks for a timeout of 10 seconds, while on this specific
hppa machine it required ~ 70 seconds.
Is there a possibility to disable the timeouts completely on the
debian-ports architectures? I'm asking because on hppa we have multiple
various buildd servers, and they differ a lot performance-wise, and
usually I would like to avoid defining on which machine libsdl should be
built.
By the way.... if a built takes too long, it will be killed by the
build system anyway (e.g. after 5 hours no output). So, you will not
get endlessly building systems if you remove the timeout.
(note: I manually uploaded a libsdl package for hppa, so currently it
seems it built fine - which it didn't).
Thanks,
Helge
