That would make it a duplicate; I send a new bug report to glibc that
includes a copy of the current report (Bug#325465:).

PS: I insist on the 'important' severity: if nothing is fixed I'll
have to recompile the packages, that's truly unusable for us :) But as
you pointed this does not look relevant to shadow itself.
