[Pkg-shadow-devel] Bug#204644: Compiling with the -g flag

Bug #204644 suggest we follow the policy recommendation to compile
software with debugging information (policy 10.1 as quoted in the bug
report)

Doing so requires patching configure.in in the 4.0.3 tree, which can
be easily done.

However, I'd like to propose the relevant patch to Tomasz. However,
shadow upstream now uses the autotools stuff which I'm completely
ignorant of.

Does some of you know about the needed magic we need to add to the
current autogen.sh to do so?
