In fact, there were no need to preserve the permissions. cvs2svn jsut has
to be able to read the CVS repository.

I exported a copy of the current CVS and SVN repositories.
It looks OK to me.
No diff (except keywords) and:
  sarge/man/ko/passwd.5
  sid/debian/patches/205_it-manpages.dpatch
  changelog

changelog because of Christian commit (so commit works;)
and diff -aub is empty on sarge/man/ko/passwd.5 and
sid/debian/patches/205_it-manpages.dpatch


Also:
If you want to enable commit notifications, it is in
/svn/pkg-shadow/hooks/post-commit
(Just copy the post-commit.tmpl file, change the email address and verify
the commit-email.pl script exists (maybe it was moved to /svn/pkg-shadow
and is not in /usr))
