* Debian IIRC uses shadow with PAM support enabled and in this case
  /etc/login.defs::MAIL_DIR isn't used now (was changed in 4.0.8).

* I'll glad to see some changes for direct using defineds from <paths.h>
  where system path to system mail spool is listed as _PATH_MAILDIR.
  Also defineds from <paths.h> can be used for grab not only mail spool=20
  path but many more.

* In next 4.0.10 I want remove from source tree=20
  etc/login.defs{,.linux,.hurd} and replace this by only one=20
  etc/login.defs file with autogenerated content depending on is PAM=20
  support on autoconf level was enabled or not.
