Please don't do that. In fact, I'm not willing to be part of a "solution"
which includes setting default umask to 002 as its final step.
As I've explained several times, if we change the default umask to 002,
a simple "scp -p" from a Debian system to a system where everybody is
in the "users" group will get unexpected, undesired and likely harmful
results.
