Because when it has to be done for several packages/software,=C2=A0each o=
ne
with its own building process, it becomes pretty unmanageable.

Giving translators a ready-to-use POT file is the best way to get good
translations, believe me. Not all of them have enough hacking skills
to do it themselves.
