Package: passwd
Version: 20000902-12
Severity: normal

The manpage of useradd states:
       -d home_dir
The new user will be created using home_dir as the
value for the user's login directory. The default
is to append the login name to default_home and use
that as the login directory name.

However, useradd -d /foo/bar baz won't create /foo/bar. So either the docs
should be fixed or the useradd script should be updated ...

Regards,

Frank
