[Pkg-shadow-devel] Possible release schedule

We now see that releasing after Tomasz releases is getting easier and
easier.

We also see that 4.0.12-1 had no bad feedback. Of course, being
uploaded to experimental, we have no idea of the real testing it
received but, hell, I posted to debian-devel-announce about it, so
developers can't teel they haven't been warned.

So this allows me to draw some kind of release schedule plan.

Around 9/15: Tomasz releases 4.0.13
Around 9/22: We release 4.0.13-1 in unstable, with the same diff.gz we
have in 4.0.12-1, more or less. Trivial fixes accepted,
             no invasive change

As soon as 4.0.13-1 enters testing, ie 10 days later if no blocker
shows up (or if we don't depend on something else):
We release 4.0.13-2 with build changes (debian/rules
cleaning and/or cdbs use), based on Christine's work
             No other change, possibly
Idealistically, this should happen around 10/1-10/10

Around 10/15: Tomasz releases 4.0.14
Around 10/22: We release 4.0.14-1 in unstable
Arount 10/25: We release 4.0.14-2 in experimental with the arguments
              concat stuff applied

Later, I can't tell..:-)

This also means that we now have a quite quiet time.

IMHO, Christine can continue work on the debian/rules
cleaning/modernisation

Nicolas can continue polishing existing patches and maybe start
working on upstream integration of PO stuff for man pages and
integrating our current man pages translations to upstream

Alexander and I can resume the work on the BTS. We probably can define
usertags now, apply them to the existing bugs and make yet another
round of bug triage

Martin still stands as backup DD in case I fall under a train...:-)

Oh, and this gives me a lot of work seeking out names for all these
releases. Thankfully, french cheese names are numerous so we can make
a lot of releases.

Happy work, dear Knights of Su
