[Pkg-shadow-devel] Debian package 'nologin' - log false attemps to syslog

Well, the only way for this would be including nologin in upstream's
sources, ie in Tomasz Klockzko shadow software (shadow is the source
package for login as you probably know).

Tomasz being subscribed to the Debian maintainers list, he will answer
by himself.

What I will veto would be a Debian "patch" to the upstream sources to
have them include another software.
