Hello,

since passwd 1:4.0.12-2 /etc/pam.d/passwd seems not to be in the package
anymore:

root at gate:~# ls -l /etc/pam.d/passwd
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 92 Apr 29  2004 /etc/pam.d/passwd
root at gate:~# dpkg -S /etc/pam.d/passwd
passwd: /etc/pam.d/passwd
root at gate:~# dpkg -l passwd | grep ^i
ii  passwd         4.0.3-31sarge5 change and administer password and group dat
root at gate:~# 

root at darkside:~# ls -l /etc/pam.d/passwd
-rw-r--r--  1 root root 92 Apr 29  2004 /etc/pam.d/passwd
root at darkside:~# dpkg -S /etc/pam.d/passwd
dpkg: /etc/pam.d/passwd not found.
root at darkside:~# dpkg -l passwd | grep ^i
ii  passwd         4.0.12-5       change and administer password and group data
root at darkside:~# 

A quick check over my archive showed that it's included until
1:4.0.3-39, the last 4.0.3-package.

If you think this is intentional, feel free to just close this bug, but
please consider to remove a stale conffile in postinst or somewhere like
that then.
