I'm just reading the title of this bug: "grammar in chgpasswd.8"

It can't be a coincidence.

There was a discussion on #debian-devel and in the debian-mentors mailing
list about how to "change group password in batch mode".

Maybe it could be a nice wishlist feature (a chgpasswd utility or an
option for chpasswd).
