Well, my first reaction is to wonder whether shadow should really take
care to get around a bug that:

-is first a bug in xml2po
-is fixed in testing and unstable


Indeed, should we support building the version of shadow in etch with
the buildsystem of sarge?

This bug report indeed suggest that we add a versioned build
dependency on gnome-doc-utils. However, the bug is indeed NOT one that
we will fix for etch (shadow is frozen now) and....it is irrelevant
for etch+1 unless one wants to support building etch+1 packahes on
sarge.
