I am interested in having an upstream maintained blowfish support.
I am already using blowfish/libxcrypt and while I cannot speak for
others, there are probably some at HLFS (Hardened Linux From Scratch)
that would also like inclusion.

Perhaps an optional configure option like --enable-libxcrypt or
--enable-blowfish would be nice.


LFS has a hint on adding blowfish support to the system, if this means

As an FYI, I am starting to reach a saturation point in mailing lists
