[Pkg-shadow-devel] Bug#498635: Bug#498635: passwd: useradd -r and groupadd -r don't play nicely with ldap

I've been looking at this a bit more, it seems to be related to bug
#337253:

    libc6: getent hangs when called with --service=ldap args
    http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=337253

In that bug Richard Nelson says:

    I've moved from libnss-ldap to libnss-ldapd, and am trying to clean
    things up for a hopeful hand-off of the package...

I tried switching to libnss-ldapd also and found that my 'groupadd -r'
command now runs successfully (in a little under 4 seconds).

I guess that means *this* bug should now be associated with Bug#337253.
