[Pkg-shadow-devel] Bug#520184: passwd: Obscure message "Authentication token lock busy" when filesystem read-only

Package: passwd
Version: 1:4.1.1-6
Severity: normal

With the root filesystem read-only, passwd gives the obscure error
message "Authentication token lock busy", rather than a more useful
message like "Filesystem read-only".
