Package: shadow
Version: 1:4.1.4.2+svn3283-3
Severity: important
This is an old release goal from Lenny but shadow is now impossible to build twice
in a row using standard / NMU-style tools:
apt-get source shadow
debuild -uc -us
debuild -uc -us
Removing patch 008_su_get_PAM_username
Restoring src/su.c
Patch 503_shadowconfig.8 does not remove cleanly (refresh it or enforce with -f)
make: *** [reverse-patches] Error 1
dpkg-buildpackage: error: fakeroot debian/rules clean gave error exit status 2
debuild: fatal error at line 1340:
This is very frustrating when trying to do test builds of shadow for multiarch
because it means the changes have to be kept out of the package tree and copied
back over a fresh tree after every build.
