Hello
I installed wheezy today for the second time, first time I installed one
of the first things I did is add myself to the sudo group as I saw in
sudoers the line:
%sudo ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL

what I did:
~# groups shalom
shalom : shalom cdrom floppy sudo audio dip video plugdev scanner netdev

then tried to add myself to sudo group:
~# usermod -G sudo shalom

and then checked with groups and saw that all other groups disappeared:
~# groups shalom
shalom : shalom sudo

so I went and added myself to the other groups again:
usermod -G sudo,cdrom,floppy,audio,dip,video,plugdev,scanner,netdev shalom

(now I know I sould have done usemod -G -a)

since then I was periodically logged out of the gnome session without
notice.

first time I installed wheezy I couldn't guess it was related, I did
that change very soon after installation.
because I didn't know what was happening and couldn't find any clue I
decided to reinstall debian. this time I didn't do this change for a
whole day and didn't have any problems, after a day work I decided I
want the sudo again so went and added myself again to the sudo group
going though the same procedure as before. and again I started
experiencing periodic log out without notice.
