Hi,

I've really no idea if this is the right place - please reassign where
necessary.

After upgrading to wheezy and rebooting into its 3.2 kernel, when I log in
on the normal console, w(1) doesn't see me, it says 0 users are logged in.

/dev/pts looks the same as on the squeeze machines, the entire configuration
is unchanged (i.e. the mount options gid=5,mode=620 are still there), but
there's nothing there.

zsh says $TTY is e.g. /dev/tty3

/var/run/utmp exists and looks sane (chgrp utmp, g+w)

Please help. TIA.
