Hi all,
On Yocto project we are having one issue when configure for compiling shadow package when uclibc is used (TCLIBC = "uclibc").
In newer version of 'uclibc' UTMP support is disabled and UTMPX is enabled.
Using default settings we have this error: "configure: error: Systems with UTMPX and no ut_id field in the utmp structure are not supported"
This is the only package that complains.
If we enable UTMP in uclibc, package 'shadow' will configure and compile fine.

Our expectation was: enabling UTMPX will be enough, since 'ut_id' field is available in UTMPX struct.

Could you please clarify the current support for UTMPX in 'shadow' package?
Is this just a configure bug, or more development is needed?

Best regards,
