I have just checked the repo.
I think the added patches in debian/ are good and I would also add the CVE id.

However, importing new upstream did not go well. It added a lot of
generated files and it has not updated the upstream branch.
I suggest reverting master to debian/4.2-2-12-gf9aecd1, pointing
debian/watch to GitHub and importing 4.3 (/4.3.1?) using uscan and
gbp import-orig.

Do you mind if I add the 3 patches to Wheezy LTS while you are working
on the version for unstable?
